The old town has no opening hours. The walls keep seasonal hours (7:00 to 20:00 from May to September); the cable car runs 9:00 to 19:00 in late season.
Opening hours for every month are on the Opening hours page.

The municipal notice gives no last-entry time and says nothing about December, January and February, so we do not know whether the walls are free or closed then. Hours for the Cathedral of St Tryphon, the Maritime Museum and the churches of St Nicholas and St Luke are not confirmed by official sources.

Fee collection on the walls runs from 1 March to 30 November, according to the notice of 28 February 2025; the hours were the same in the 2024 communiqué. For 2026 we found no new notice. Some maps and blogs quote other hours (for example 8:00 to 20:00 all year); they are not official sources, and nothing official supports the claim that the walls are free outside the ticketed hours.
The timetable in the table is the end-of-season one we read on 23 October 2026: 9:00 to 19:00, Tuesdays from 10:30, last ascent at 18:30 and last descent at 19:00. Other seasons, days off and winter hours are not confirmed, because the operator’s working-hours page did not open for us.
The operator’s conditions of carriage say that the service is suspended in strong wind, storms or when storms are likely. Check its website and social media before you go. Animals are allowed only in dedicated cabins and with the consent of the other passengers.
The cathedral and the churches of St Nicholas and St Luke cannot be visited during masses, services, weddings or baptisms (town tourist organisation). We found no official opening hours for any of them.
The Maritime Museum’s website returned an error on 23 October 2026, and the archived copies of its pages are old or contradict each other, so we do not publish any hours. Check with the museum before you go.
The Pass allows one visit per site within 30 days of purchase. The churches cannot be visited during services. The Boka Aquarium, included in the S pass, is outside the old town, in Dobrota, so check its opening days on its own website before you plan around it.
Open from 9:00 to 18:00 every day until 15 November 2026 (the museum admits the last groups 30 minutes before closing), then closed to visits until mid-April 2027. The museum’s English and Montenegrin pages give different reopening dates, 11 and 15 April, so confirm before you go.
