By car
Our routing estimates without traffic: Kotor 14.3 km, about 24 minutes; Risan 3.7 km, about 7 minutes; Tivat town centre 24.8 km, about 38 minutes; Tivat airport about 20.8 km, about 32 minutes. From Dubrovnik, the road round the inner bay by Verige and Risan passes through Perast on the way to Kotor: 94 km and about 2 h 25 without queues at the border.

By bus and taxi
The Kotor bus station lists no direct line to Perast. The municipality publishes a local line, the K7 “Kotor (School Centre) – Risan”, with a stop at Perast (€1.50 from Kotor). It is a school line: its notice says it does not run at weekends, on holidays, from 10 June to 31 August or from 1 to 20 January, and its timetable is hard to read, so do not plan a visit around it.
Taxi fares from Kotor are not confirmed.
